Founded in year 1957, on DEEPAVALI-BALIPADYAMI Day,

Vidyavardhaka Sangha has completed Fifty Years of significant service to Education. Having risen from humble beginnings, the Sangha’sname has come to be reckoned with in the field of education today. Its growth has always run parallel to the need and the demand of people and providing quality education at affordable costs has been the objective. In this manner, it now caters to about 5000 students in its variousinstitutions from the play home to First Grade College.

It’s dedicated and conscientious staff its major assets being responsible for the name it has earned today. V.V.S has diversified its services in the fields of medicine, fine arts and computer literacy. It has paid equal attention to equipping its teachers with modern methodologies of teaching. Cautious consolidation rather than indiscreet expansion has been the major concern of V.V.S.

Background:

• The history of VVS has been a balance between inspiring vision and a pragmatic approach.
• The institution formally began on Balipadyami day of Deepavali in 1957 in Anjaneya temple at Juganahalli. Even to this day, it is celebrated with all piousness and gaiety. It was registered under the society’s registration act in 1959.
• Once School was established, the immediate need was to mobilize the right type of dedicated people who would officiate a Sangha and guide in administration and educational aspects.
• VVS from inception to this day has an enlightened management which is the greatest boon and the prime reason for the success of this 66 year academic institution.
