Code of Conduct

Students are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that includes wearing formal attire, displaying their identity cards, and maintaining discipline at all times. Ragging is strictly prohibited, and good manners and respect for staff and peers are essential. Mobile phones may only be used for academic purposes, and attendance, cleanliness, and respect for institutional property are mandatory. Upholding the institution’s values ensures a positive and responsible learning environment.

  • Attire and Identification: Students are required to wear formal attire and prominently display their college identity cards while on campus.
  • Discipline: Maintaining discipline is paramount within the campus premises.
  • Ragging Prohibition: Ragging, as per the UGC regulations, is strictly prohibited. Any involvement in ragging will result in disciplinary action as per the UGC Act 1956.
  • Manners and Respect: Students are expected to display good manners and treat both staff and fellow students with respect. Any instances of rude behaviour will be addressed accordingly.
  • Mobile Phone Usage: Mobile phones are permitted for academic purposes only. Non-academic use is restricted.
  • Campus Movement: Loitering within the campus, particularly during class hours, is not permitted.
  • Property Damage: Students are prohibited from causing any damage to institutional property.
  • Class Attendance: Regular attendance in classes is mandatory for all students.
  • Cleanliness: Students are responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the campus premises.
  • Upholding Institution Values: Students are expected to uphold the culture and values of the institution at all times.
